About Rosa Lee

I grew up Deaf, in a Deaf family.

American Sign Language (ASL) is not just my first language — it is how I move through the world. How I hold a story. How I find rhythm in silence and meaning in the space between signs.

Over time, I stopped asking whether art was accessible to me and started asking what it looked like through me.

That question still shapes everything I create.

Rosa Lee Timm is an executive leader, artist, performer, and creative educator whose work lives at the intersection of ASL, storytelling, performance, and intentional living. Over two decades she has performed on DeafBroadway, at Lincoln Center, on PBS, and on stages across the country — creating work rooted in embodied language, identity, and the philosophy of More & Only™.
